Goppion's House Cake

Here's the recipe for a delicious cake with our coffee

200 g sugar

200 g butter

200 g dark chocolate

80 g flour

5 eggs

1 cup coffee Goppion

3 teaspoons rum

4 tablespoons bitter cocoa

6 dried biscuits (crumbled)

1 pinch of salt

1 bag vanilla

1 bag baking powder

In a clean, dry bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water (bain-marie), melt the dark chocolate with butter until smooth.

Work sugar with egg yolk, keeping aside the white, and add the melted chocolate/butter, flour, coffee, liquor, the crumbled biscuits, cocoa, 1 pinch of salt, vanilla and baking powder.

Whisk egg whites and add them to the rest of your mixture. Pour the contents into the pan previously greased and floured; bake at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes.

Dust with icing sugar.
